Want to try Windows 7 beta? Tired of Windows Vista and want to try the Windows 7 beta which is the next version which is supposedly lighter and how Windows Vista should be? Perhaps you are still using Windows XP and wanted to try if your PC still has gas on it to run the next version of Windows which is Windows 7.
Well Windows 7 Beta is free for download. You can download the Windows 7 beta ISO installer here (x86).
Alternate download here (x86) and requires Akamai Java download manager.
For people with 4GB of memory or more or just wanted to use the 64bit version:
Windows 7 Beta x64 here.
Alternate x64 here.
Warning:
Please update your Windows 7 beta before playing your mp3s befpre it gets corrupted.
Patches for Windows 7 beta are available here – x86 patch and x64 patch here.
- Visit TechNet Downloads here, sign in at the top right and let the page load
- Within the same window copy and paste “https://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/scripts/gcs.aspx?Product=tn-win7-64-ww&LCID=1033” into the address bar or “https://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/scripts/gcs.aspx?Product=tn-win7-32-ww&LCID=1033” (64bit key but will work on 32 too, if you get an error refresh a few times)…enjoy the result below (32 bit link seems to work better), while stocks last. If you are still having issues try clearing your temp files and deleting all cookies.”
Good luck and I hope it won’t be a bumpy ride. I myself wanted to try Windows 7 but I don’t have enough space for my laptop.
Here is video of Windows 7 Super Bar
