Guys are more techie than us girls and I have to admit that. But not only that, they are more inclined to buy gadgets, tools and electronic appliances than women, including my husband. He loves to buy amplifiers, subwoofers, CD players and mixers. We used to go to a surplus shop to buy amplifiers. I joked about the place as his mall. We used to go there twice a month, imagine? teehee.

The amplifiers he bought were working but he wants quality sound so we also frequent Quiapo (a place for electronic appliance parts and camera haven) to buy capacitors, resistors and other stuff to tweak what he bought. He is like that, like any other geek guy, I suppose.

But if he likes to tweak those stuff he bought at a surplus shop, he’s keeping his high quality speakers intact. He wouldn’t dare open it and keeps on cleaning its surface everyday. That’s how he takes care of those speakers. Oh well, maybe because they are expensive unlike those he bought at a surplus shop.
