How to Transfer Go Daddy Domain to Another Account

I have a domain which I’m not using. Since my sister wants to blog, instead of buying a new domain, I then decided to transfer it. I asked her to create her own Go Daddy account and I’ll just transfer the domain to her account. What are the steps I did?

1. Upon login to my Go Daddy account, I went to My Products -> Domain Manager. In the screen shot below, I check the domain I would like to transfer to and clicked on “Account Change”.

2. A popup page was displayed and I was asked to input the registrant’s customer number or login name and the regsitrant’s email address. I selected to input domain’s new contact information and I selected to use the same nameserver.

3. In the next step, I then input my sister’s details.

4. The second to the last step is the agreement to the domain name account change. After I ticked the check boxes, the account change will be initiated.

5. Here is the last step. By the way, this will be seen if the “Do not change” option was selected from Step 2.

After initiating the account change, the domain was then moved to my sister’s account. It’s as easy as that. :)
