Last weekend, my family went to a beach resort in a nearby province. We took advantage of the long weekend to relax a little and be free from all the stress and pressures given to us by our work. My husband and I wanted to have some fun with water and also our little daughter. We chose a resort that is not very expensive so that our mini-escapade will not also hurt our budget. The place is not as beautiful and sophisticated as Santa Monica Beach Hotel but just fit our budget. It does not even have rooms for guests who want to stay for overnight. Only small cottages and tables are provided. I really wished we had the budget to avail a better place, if not as comfortable as Santa Monica Beach accommodations.

Although the place we went to is not really that superb, I can say that we still enjoy our trip. Our daughter had so much fun and enjoyed the beach though she can’t still swim by her own yet. And of course, the fact that we were there together without work to think of is already a good reason to enjoy. I hope someday, when me and my husband retire, we can also experience the Southern California lifestyle even for few days only.
