Where is mariah carey?or colbie caillat?this year officially one of the worse grammy i ever seen.I mean i like all of these nominations but c’mon…i don’t think it’s the greatest song or singer of the year. What about touch my body?bubbly?take a bow?
What are you talking about? Worse grammy ever? Not a chance. All the nominations are solid- and moreover, your examples of what should be in suck. Bubbly? Not respected by anyone over the age of 24 that isn’t a girl. Besides, it was released in 2007. And Take a bow? Not Rihanna’s best 08 single. I’m glad you’re not part of the academy.
Are you saying that “Take a Bow” is not Rihanna’s best 08 single?Let me tell you this.Take a Bow” jumped up 52 spots from number fifty-three to number-one on the Billboard Hot 100. This is the fourth-best leap in the chart’s history of songs climbing to #1 ,The song also opened with the third highest digital sales tally in Billboard Chart history amassing 267,000 units sold in one week after being available only on radio,The single has become one of Rihanna’s biggest radio hits of her entire career in the United States, only second to “Umbrella”, which had the advantage of stronger Urban airplay. So,still thinking that “take a bow” is not the best rihannna’s 08 single?
“Me,Myself and I”?Wtf,the 2003’s single become a the nomination for grammy 2008?Wow,grammy love beyonce huh? They said that they take the “Me,Myself and I” from the DVD?What The F**k
all the nominations are solid, or at least better than last year definately. let me tell you something. rihanna cannot sing if her life depended on it. i’m glad she’s not nominated in the big 4 and i hope she doesn’t win her 2 nods.
other unsatisfactory nominations:
Jonas brothers for best new artist?? what about leona lewis?
me myself and i? beyonce should not even win this.
lil wayne for album of the year? what were they thinking?
I’m rooting for:
radiohead or coldplay for album of the year. eiher one and i’m happy.
leona lewis or pink for best pop vocal. the best vocals out of all the nominees.
coldplay for record+song of the year. plus another categories.
radiohead for alternative album.
i’m glad krauss and plant were nominated but if they win album of the year, i will be very disappointed. because it serously wasn’t the album of the year.
I’m glad Jason Mraz were nominated.I always love his song from the first album but he never been nominated. Is there a chance to him to win best male?I don’t expect so much for song of the year,it’s hard to win this category.
Spotlight were nominated for best RnB song? You gotta be kidding.I like this song but being the best?i don’t think so.I prefer to superwoman by alicia keys. But where is “touch my body”?It’s one of the greatest song the year i think. And where is T.I?Well i don’t like T.I,but “whatever you like” is a monster hit this year ( for many people, not me )
WHERE ON EARTH IS BRITNEY SPEARS? she’s the only one that deserves to be honored among current artists and they didn’t even nominate her!!??
