I’ve seen my friends using Foursquare in Facebook to let everyone know where they checked-in. Before, I’m curious as to why they use it and found out that points are awarded for checking in at different places. Eventually, users with most checked-ins will be crowned as “Mayor”. I see some using Foursquare even if their location is at home. Maybe the “mayors” get freebies in some places? Do you use Foursquare?

Personally, I don’t want everyone to know where I am currently. I even don’t post any status in Facebook, much more letting my friends know where my current location is.
