2009 Cotton Bowl Parade or Dallas New Year’s Parade will start on January 1, 2009 at 2:30 P.M. with the opening ceremonies scheduled for 2:00 P.M. The Cotton Bowl Parade is held on Downtown Dallas beginning from Ross Ave. and ending at All-Star Way next to the American Airlines Center.

The Cotton Bowl Parade 2009 will have a live broadcast on KDFW-TV (Fox 4) on January 1, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. and will have a parade replay telecast on January 2, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. (same channel).

The Cotton Bowl Parade for 2009 will feature 10 floats designed by Dallas ISD students. Viewers will have a chance to vote for the best float and the winning float will be announced on January 9, 2009. Voting ends on January 2, 2009 at 11:59 P.M.
