One of the movies I’m waiting to be shown next year is Cars 2, the sequel to the Pixar/Disney’s animated  movie. It’s been five years since the original movie was shown.

Lightning McQueen and Mater is going places in Cars 2 as McQueen competes in the first World Grand Prix to determine who is the world’s fastest car. Mater, on the other hand, is torn whether to assist McQueen or doing a top-secret mission. New characters, action and villains will be seen in Cars 2.

Will some of characters from the original Cars still be in the sequel such as Sally and Sheriff? Hopefully the will.

Cars 2 is scheduled to be release on June 24, 2011 and will be available in 2D, 3D and IMAX.
